Smoked Ham Steak Recipe

  • 1 bone-in Smoked Ham Steak

  • 5 tablespoons butter, cubed

  • 5 tablespoons brown sugar


Start by thawing your ham steak.
Once thawed - add to a pre-heated skillet and let cook approximately 5 min medium heat on each side until both sides are browned.

Remove ham steak from skillet and drain off any fat.
Add butter to the skillet and let melt, then stir in the brown sugar.

Return ham to skillet. Cook, turning ham often, until brown sugar has dissolved, about 10 minutes and ham has reached a safe internal temp of 160F. Reduce heat if brown sugar/butter mixture starts to pop or splatter.

Enjoy with roasted veggies, fresh salad and maybe some cheesy potatoes!
